Aims: The construction of a smart city has been proposed as a strategy to reduce the problems caused by the growth of the urban population and rapid urbanization. The aim of this research was to evaluate the components of the feasibility of a smart city in District 22 of Tehran Metropolitan City.
 Research methodology: This research is an applied research in terms of its purpose and is in the category of descriptive-analytical research. The research community included experts and officials of urban affairs in the 22nd district of Tehran, and a questionnaire was used to measure the current situation, which was used to collect data after verifying the validity and reliability. In this research, the descriptive statistics method was used to describe the data, and the Kolmogorov Smirnov test was used in the inferential part to check whether the data distribution was normal or not, and to check the components of the smart city, the sample T-Tech test was used, and to measure the correlation between the components, the Pearson correlation coefficient test was used.
Findings: The results showed that the smart citizen component is the first priority, the smart economy component is the second priority, and the smart life component is the third priority for the realization of the smart city in the 22nd district of Tehran.
 Conclusion: This research showed that between the components of "smart economy" and "smart life" with a correlation coefficient of 0.734, it has the highest dependence between the components, which requires the empowerment of residents and strengthening the foundations of households by creating conditions for social, economic and commercial activities.
