Introduction: This study aimed to a model of the underlying factors for social creativity occurrence in the urban environment and zoning the urban regions of Ahvaz based on the determined factors. Methodology: This applied research was conducted in 2022-2023 in the Ahvaz city through two stages. The first stage was carried out using the research synthesis and the effective indicators for creating social creativity were determined and used to design the model.Delphi method was used to check validity and reliability of the model.Data were analyzed using factorial and confirmatory analysis through SPSS 23 and AMOS software.In the second stage, after the approving proposed model, the urban rejoins of Ahvaz was classified based on the determined indicators status through field study and the evaluation of citizens' opinions.Vikor method was used to weighting the status of indicators in each of the regions.The obtained weights were added to each of the areas using the weighted sum tool in ArcGIS 10.8 software and the final map was prepared. Findings: The factors of social capital and the motivating the emergence of talents and abilities, responsiveness of space and experience of creating place, culture, tradition and beliefs of society, originality, diversity, uniqueness of space and furniture rank first to fourth in the expression of creativity in urban places.Social creativity in regions 1, 2, and 4 is very high, high, and high, respectively.Regions 3, 6 and 7 are in the middle class and regions 8 and 5 are in the low and very low classes, respectively. Conclusion: Factors affecting the social creativity in urban environments are summarized in 5 categories: economic, social, location context, cultural and individual characteristics.
