Reconstruction of Quaternary final phase climatic conditions in Shahdad river Basin

Goals and Contexts: Climate changes are the most dominant characters in quaternary period. Thus this research tries to reconstruct the first phase quaternary climate condition in Shahdad basin.
Methodology: To access the last temperature and rainfall, at first the Wright and Porter method were used and then based on topography maps 1:50000 and digital elevation model was 30m, the cirque and terrace were recognized.
Findings: It is found that, minimum and maximum temperature is 5 and 25 centigrade in present time and rainfall maximum and minimum is 210 and 60 ml but in last time temperature was between 20 and-20 and rainfall was between 150 – 450 ml.by wright after passing of 60 percent line glassier , circus lacesin Shahdad base in , the permanent snow code line was located at an altitude of 2908 meter in the elevation method the bottom of circuses was 2849 ,in ration method 3018 ,and finally in accumulation ratio method this area was at an altitude of 2850 meter that the average of them was 2906. 109 cirques were found and showed that the most circuses were at altitude between 2700 and 2900meter.and also 237 terraces. Were recognized and showed that by relation between equal height5terrace were recognized the first terrace was 1000 meter, second one 800 meter, third one 550 meter, fourth one 400 meter and the fifth 250 meter.
Conclusion: Although today Shahdad base in is located in dry climate area but document has been shown that this base in has glassier marks and signs like glaciers, cirques and etc.in old time its temperature was more less and its rainfall was much more than present time, therefore using of geomorphological signs a suitable method for environment and rainfall rebuilding during the last period of maximum circulation of glaciers.
