Abstract   (5319 Views)

In the present study, through derivation of some binding principles and criteria generalizable to other research sites and also by incorporating multi-criteria decision making models and using GIS software, some arenas in north-west of Mashhad city are detected that are prone to high-rise building. This article is based on an applied research and in terms of nature and methodology, it is a descriptive-analytic one. Data collection process is performed through attributive and survey-based methods. Investigating the influential factors, some criteria and indices are identified in four dimensions including physical-spatial, access and infrastructures, environmental quality and economic; and the values are determined though Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in Expert Choice software. The layers are incorporated and overlaid through GIS software. Then, the abovementioned arenas of north-west of Mashhad are prioritized.
