اهداف و زمینه‌ها: توجه به سرمایه‌های اجتماعی می‌تواند نقش مهمی در بهبود روند برنامه‌ریزی توسعه روستایی برای متخصصان و تسهیل مشارکت روستاییان در اجرای بهتر برنامه داشته باشد. پژوهش حاضر با هدف ارزیابی و سنجش وضعیت سرمایه اجتماعی در روستاهای دهستان زاخرویه و مشخص‌کردن میزان اثرگذاری اعتماد، مشارکت و انسجام در وضعیت سرمایه اجتماعی انجام شد.
روش‌شناسی: روش انجام این پژوهش توصیفی-تحلیلی است. جمع آوری داده‌ها و اطلاعات به روش اسنادی و میدانی از طریق پرسش‌نامه انجام شد. جامعه آماری پژوهش سرپرستان خانوار روستاهای دهستان زاخرویه (3382 نفر) بود. که با استفاده از فرمول کوکران، 345 نفر برای نمونه مطالعه انتخاب شدند. سرمایه اجتماعی در قالب پرسش‌نامه 20سئوالی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. برای انتخاب نمونه‌ها از روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی در سطح روستاهای منطقه متناسب با تعداد جمعیت ساکن استفاده شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از آزمون‌های آماری اسپیرمن، T تک‌نمونه‌ای و تحلیل مسیر استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: در بین متغیرهای پژوهش تنها متغیر مشارکت اجتماعی دارای اثر مستقیم بر سرمایه اجتماعی بود و دو متغیر اعتماد اجتماعی و انسجام اجتماعی، دارای اثرات مستقیم و غیرمستقیم بر سرمایه اجتماعی بودند.
نتیجه‌گیری: مشارکت اجتماعی دارای اثر مستقیم بر سرمایه اجتماعی به میزان 624/0 است. مطلوب‌ترین وضعیت سرمایه اجتماعی به‌ترتیب، مربوط به روستاهای مزرعه پهن، چم‌کور و پیرغیب است.
