تعیین و ارزیابی اقلیم گردشگری (تفرجی و ورزشی) با بهره‌گیری از شاخص‌های کمی آسایش حرارتی (مطالعه موردی: شهرستان شاهرود)

اهداف و زمینه‌ها: گردشگری ورزشی یکی از بخش‌های بسیار رشدیافته گردشگری است. ارتباط میان دو مقوله ورزش و گردشگری در سالیان اخیر بیش از پیش درک گردیده است. هدف اصلی این پژوهش شناسایی زمان‌های مناسب برای فعالیت‌های گردشگری فضای باز در شهرستان شاهرود براساس شرایط اقلیمی بود.
روش‌شناسی: در این پژوهش توصیفی-تحلیلی، برای تعیین اقلیم گردشگری، از دو شاخص کمی اولگی و دمای موثر و برای تعیین تناسب نوع گردشگری با اقلیم از مدل گردشگری ورزشی بهمن‌پور و همکاران استفاده شد. بدین منظور داده‌های آماری مربوط به دما و رطوبت نسبی محدوده مطالعاتی در بازه زمانی 35 سال منتهی به زمان پژوهش مورد سنجش و ارزیابی قرار گرفت.  
یافته‌­ها: براساس شاخص اولگی، اردیبهشت، خرداد، مرداد و شهریور در محدوده آسایش حرارتی قرار داشتند و بهترین زمان‌ها برای گردشگری در منطقه مطالعاتی بودند. از سوی دیگر، تیر به دلیل گرمای بالا و آذر، دی، بهمن و اسفند به دلیل سرمای زیاد زمان‌های مناسبی برای گردشگری فضای باز نبودند. از سوی دیگر، براساس شاخص دمای موثر نیز، خرداد، مرداد و شهریور در محدوده آسایش حرارتی قرار داشتند و تیر، آبان، آذر، دی، بهمن و اسفند زمان‌های مناسبی برای گردشگری نبودند. حداقل میانگین رطوبت نسبی 24% تعیین شد که خارج از محدوده استاندارد شاخص اولگی بود.
نتیجه ­گیری: بهترین ماه‌ها برای گردشگری تفرجی و ورزشی فضای باز در شهرستان شاهرود براساس هر دو شاخص اولگی و دمای موثر، خرداد، مرداد و شهریور است.
